SPEAKERS BUREAU

The Humanities Montana Speakers Bureau offers communities and non-profit organizations the opportunity to explore ideas and issues through a rich variety of programs. Our roster consists of nearly 100 humanities-focused public programs your organization can choose from to host in your community. The speakers and programs have been selected through a statewide call for proposals, consulting of references for each applicant, and the Committee’s careful review process, in order to assure the highest quality. An assortment of humanities categories are available.

You may book a program in one of two ways.

1. Engage a Speaker directly, without requesting an MCH Speakers Bureau grant award. You arrange amounts and payments directly with the speaker. The MCH staff will send you press release materials and photo upon request.

2. Apply for a program through an MCH Speakers Bureau award. You contribute $50 at the time of your application, provide the planning, coordination, advertising, meeting room, and an audience. If accepted, MCH will pay the speaker’s honorarium, travel, lodging, and meals. These programs must be presented free of charge to the public. If not accepted, your check will be returned. You may sponsor up to three MCH-funded programs in a calendar year. Just follow the steps in the application instructions below and complete the application form.
